David K. Minacci

Mr. Minacci serves as the prosecuting attorney for the Board of Architecture and Interior Design. Mr. Minacci previously served as the Acting Director of the Division of Professions, Deputy General Counsel, and Executive Director of the Florida Board of Professional Engineers while employed with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Beverly Chew

As the assistant to attorney David Minacci for many years, Ms. Chew handles all administrative duties related to the Board of Architecture and Interior Design (BOAID). Her duties include preparing correspondence and legal documents for the Probable Cause Panel and Board Meetings. She sets hearings with DOAH (Division of Administrative Hearings), updates the Florida Administrative Weekly with case information, and updates the cases for the state’s software system (Versa) on all cases pertaining to the BOAID. When needed, she prepares cases for circuit court by filing legal documents and setting hearings. Ms. Chew maintains the calendar for the department including events, meetings, hearings and presentations. Ms. Chew can be contacted at
